Agasti, LLC in Flemington, NJ is hiring ETL Developers. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science principles and concepts, as well as experience with ETL tools and technologies such as Informatica, to perform the following duties:
• Design, development, and deployment of SQL databases and ETL processes optimized for BI consumption and analytics.
• Create and develop Relational databases and load data from various sources to create a single Data warehouse for analytical and BI consumption.
• Develop Database objects like tables, and views, and code the stored procedure, Packages, and functions to perform the ETL process. Unit testing to ensure data is loaded as per business requirements.
• Develop the ETL code using IICS to perform ETL to a Datawarehouse and perform unit testing. Prepare the test scenarios as per the requirement and develop/code scripts to validate the data loaded as part of Unit Testing.
• Develop the ETL code to extract the data from flat files and other cloud data lakes and stage it before loading it to the reporting layer.
• Perform Integration testing while ingesting new sources, regression testing while changing the reusable ETL components, and Volume testing while working on huge volume data sets.
• Tuning the SQL and ETL code to process huge volumes of data.
• Develop and code the Unix shell scripts to automate and schedule the ETL jobs.
• Gather the user requirements and prepare the PSDD, LSDD, and ASPD documents, test, and support business users.
• Develop or code the SQL scripts to perform the history fixes for corrupted data or incorrect data.
• Data modeling, implementation, and data management for enterprise data warehouse and advanced data analytics systems.
• Gather reporting and analysis requirements and translate them into reporting structures data models, aggregate tables, pivoted tables, and relational and dimensional (star-schema)
marts.
• Create and develop different types of profiles like Column-level profiling, Summary profiles, drill-down profiles, Scorecards, reports, etc. using Informatica Developer Explorer (IDE) tool.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or any related field of study, plus at least three (3) years of
experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).
In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics), plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s).
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:
• Informatica ETL mappings and workflows.
• Extracting data from various heterogeneous source systems like Flat files, XML, Oracle, SQL Server and Web services
• Create reusable transformations, mapplets, workflows, worklets using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Implementing versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as necessary.
• Java.
• XML.
• SQL.
• Two or more warehousing architecture techniques: MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, or EDW.
• Informatica Cloud tool – IICS / IDMC
• Informatica PowerCenter (any version 8x, 9x, 10x).
